Who are we….
Beit Ariel is a Messianic Jewish Congregation where Jews and non-Jews together worship the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Messianic Jews believe that the Hebrew Scriptures (Torah – the 1st five books of the Bible consisting of Genesis - Deuteronomy, the Prophets, the Writings & the New Covenant) are the inspired Word of G-d. As such, they are the ultimate guideline for a life pleasing to G-d (Isaiah 8: 20).
We believe in the authority of the Scriptures and in their divine authorship (2 Tim.3: 16). We further believe that everything spoken by G-d in the Scriptures shall come to pass (Isa.55: 11).
Messianic Jews also believe that the Messiah promised by G-d in the Scriptures has come as was foretold, to suffer and die for the sins of all mankind (Isaiah 53:1-12). He did this in order to bring atonement for sin which would enable Jew and non-Jew alike, to enter into a personal relationship with G-d (Isaiah 49:6). We believe that on the evidence of the Hebrew Scriptures, this Messiah can be none other than ….. Yeshua of Nazareth!
His life, death and resurrection are clearly foretold in Scripture and fit completely the Biblical portrait of the One True Messiah. We further believe that the scriptures clearly foretell His return to usher in the Millennial or Messianic era at the end of this age.
Acceptance of the atonement that Yeshua alone provides is the means by which the price of justice for our sins is met and we are redeemed out of an eternity separated from G-d (called gehinom or hell), and into eternal life with Him!
