CAPE TOWN: DEMONSTRATION IN FRONT OF PARLIAMENT.

Dear friends,

The ICEJ RSA Branch is inviting you to join us in front of Parliament, at the main gates in Hatfield Street, for a rally/demonstration on Tuesday 13 September 2011 between 10:00 and 13:00, against the upcoming Durban 3 and the UN Security Council meetings in September, to be held in New York. Both these forums have been hijacked into tribunals for accusations against Israel.

Their main focus and aim is to obtain international support to force Israel to relinquish their present national boundaries and return to the 1967 boundaries.

We are calling upon all Christian Zionists to come and make a stand in public against these attempts to undermine the State of Israel and to demand that South Africa votes against these proposals. Further that the UN and the Durban 3 meetings demand equal human rights for all woman and children in all member states of these organizations.

We have applied to the City of Cape Town to approve the Rally.  The office of the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Parliament has been requested to receive a joint memorandum from the participating organizations at the Rally.

ICEJ SA is being supported by the SA Zionist Federation (Cape Council), Bridges for Peace and many other Christians from a wide spectrum of denominations. You are encouraged to bring your own poster, on condition that you email the wording to our office for our approval, prior to the event.

Biblical captions regarding Israel being the land and people of God would be a suggestion for the posters.  The Rally will take place in Hatfield Street, on the sidewalk, on either side of the main entrance gates to Parliament. Your presence in large numbers is of paramount importance to be seen standing with Israel in their hour of need. We always declare “Israel you are not alone”, let us demonstrate it!
